The Muslim Judicial Council (SA), serving as the central religious authority, hereby informs the community that all products from Darling Fresh Chicken are fully Halaal compliant according to Islamic standards as determined by the MJC Halaal Trust slaughtering regulations.  Darling Fresh Chicken has been through the necessary infrastructural and procedural compliances in order to ensure that all produce conform to the necessary standards set by the Halaal authority.

The MJCHT therefore wishes to give the assurance to the Muslim consumer that all Halaal monitoring systems are in place at Darling Fresh Chicken Abattoir.

The MJCHT is satisfied with the efforts made by the new management of Darling Fresh Chicken to accommodate their Muslim customers and wish them a successful and prosperous year.

The Muslim Judicial Council continues to appeal to consumers to be vigilant and to check labels of all products in order to guarantee that all foodstuffs consumed by the Muslim community are in fact Halaal.
