The Muslim Judicial Council extends its condolences and sympathy to the family, friends and police community following the tragic and unfortunate helicopter accident which resulted in the death of seven celebrated serviceman who died in the call of duty.

We pray that the Almighty places patience and strength into the hearts of their dear ones during this very challenging time.  As South Africans, our hearts and prayers are with the family; we are saddened by their loss and pray for their wellbeing.  We remember these men for their bravery and their contribution in trying to save others and make South Africa a safer place.  


This excellent team of brave souls led by world renowned pilot Captain Wikus Zaayman and his crew member, Warrant Officer Thinus Gouws is an example to all of us as men living life in the service of their community and we hope that others will rise to take the baton forward and win the war against criminals.   

From God we come and to Him we shall all return!!
